Hi there, great to meet you!
My name is Dylan and I make games. Sometimes I design them, sometimes I program them and sometimes I lead a group of people working together to create games. You could say I’m a bit of a wild card.
Playing and making games has been a part of my life from a young age. I started programming when I was 9 and never stopped learning and crafting since. During my University years I was briefly distracted while getting a Master’s Degree in Archaeology, but afterwards I fully embraced my true passion which is game development.
In 2005, I co-founded Paladin Studios with my good friend Derk de Geus. It’s in his capable hands now, and I’ve been working as a freelancer since 2011.
I can help you with the following:
- Design: writing concise documentation, reviewing and improving existing material
- Development: programming gameplay and interfaces in Unity (C#), implementing 2D and 3D art
- Production: organizing workload and budgets, leading teams as Scrum Product Owner or Scrum Master
